1. Outer shell: The main materials of the outer shell include cold-painted steel plate, stainless steel, aluminum-zinc plate, etc. Different usage environments have different options. It has two kinds of shapes, one has a sloped upper part, and the slope mainly plays a diversion role, which is conducive to the flow and uniform distribution of the intake airflow; the other is a rectangular parallelepiped, which is beautiful and can allow air to enter the shell. The positive pressure is at maximum space to the filter surface.
2. Metal protective net
Most metal protective nets are anti-static and mainly protect the safety of maintenance personnel.
3. Primary filter
The primary filter is mainly used to prevent damage to the hepa filter caused by debris, construction, maintenance or other external circumstances.
4. Motor
The motors used in FFU fan filter unit include EC motor and AC motor, and they have their own advantages. EC motor is large in size, high in investment, easy to control, and have high energy consumption. AC motor is small in size, low in investment, require corresponding technology for control, and have low energy consumption.
5. Impeller
There are two types of impellers, forward tilt and backward tilt. The forward tilt is beneficial to increase the sagittal flow of the airflow organization and enhance the ability to remove dust. The backward tilt helps reduce energy consumption and noise.
6. Air flow balancing device
With the wide application of FFU fan filter units in various fields, most manufacturers choose to install air flow balancing devices to adjust outlet air flow of FFU and improve air flow distribution in clean area. At present, it is divided into three types: one is an orifice plate, which mainly adjusts airflow at the FFU port through the density distribution of the holes on the plate. One is the grid, which mainly adjusts the airflow of the FFU through the density of the grid.
7. Air duct connecting parts
In situations where the cleanliness level is low (≤ class 1000 federal standard 209E), there is no static plenum box on upper part of the ceiling, and the FFU with air duct connecting parts makes the connection between air duct and FFU very convenient.
8. Mini pleat hepa filter
Hepa filters are mainly used to capture 0.1-0.5um particle dust and various suspended solids. Filtration efficiency 99.95%, 99.995%, 99.9995%, 99.99995%, 99.99999%.
9. Control unit
The control of FFU can be roughly divided into multi-speed control, stepless control, continuous adjustment, calculation and control, etc. At the same time, functions such as single unit control, multiple unit control, partition control, fault alarm, and historical recording are realized.
